2021 AGM!

Although we understand that there are concerns due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the board would like to move forward with preparing for the 2021 AGM, which is tentatively scheduled for March 9, 2021. The AGM will be held virtually this year, while also being recorded for transparency. All members in good standing will receive a link to the AGM meeting invite prior to the AGM. 


In the meantime, we would like to ask for Chamber members who might be interested in being on some upcoming Committees related to the next AGM.



  • AGM Committee - This committee will be used for the preparations and agenda for the next AGM.

  • Nomination Committee - This committee will be used for vetting the nominated Chamber members based on the guidelines in our current By-Laws.

NOTE: Membership Fees need to be paid by February 15, 2021 @ 4pm in order to be eligible to vote. 





We are excited to announce that in accordance with the Chamber Constitution, the Nomination Committee is calling for nominations by members for the Board of Directors for 2021 as outlined in Article 6.01-f.

Our nominating committee has been put together and established the process for the upcoming nominations.

In an effort to ensure Transparency, we would like to recognize the board members who have stepped up for this years nominating committee:


  • Mike Lessard - Chair

  • Lyne Hyatt

  • Marianne Kidd

  • Candace Stern

Volunteers will also be available at the Chamber Office in person to accept nomination forms on the following dates. Please note that these dates will be strictly for curbside pickup ONLY as per established COVID guidelines. If you would like to come in person, it is strongly encouraged that you email in advance for an appointment to dunnvillecoc@outlook.com.


Curbside Nomination Applications will be accepted on:

Wed Feb 10th from 5-7pm

Thurs Feb 11th from 12-3pm

Friday Feb 12th from 12-3pm 

Monday Feb 15th from 2-4pm

There are 12 positions which are eligible for the slate of directors that will be voted on according to the new By-Laws as per Article 4.01c.


  • Nominations may be submitted by any voting member in good standing for any member in good standing as per Article 3.02.

  • Members may nominate more than one member.

  • Following this nomination process, a ballot will be prepared and sent to all voting members digitally.


In addition to this, we would like to announce the key dates that will be critical to the Nomination Process for 2021.


January 15th – nominations open*

January 16th to February 15th ** Nomination Process

February 15th – nominations close **Must be received at the Chamber Office or via email by 4pm/

February 18th – nominations committee meets to review eligibility of nominees per the bylaws and finalize slate of nominees.

February 21st – Slate of nominees communicated to membership

March 9th – Virtual AGM to be held
